Las Vegas Mob Attraction
(Formerly Las Vegas Mob Experience)

The Las Vegas Mob Experience (later renamed Mob Attraction) opened on March 1, 2011 with a Grand Opening occurring on March 29, 2011.  The Mob Attraction closed on November 3, 2013.  The "official" reason for closing is that the attraction's lease ended with the Tropicana.  An ownership and name change occurred in February, 2012.

The new interactive attraction opened on March 1, 2011 at the Tropicana (the Grand Opening occurred on March 29, 2011). The Las Vegas Mob Experience was more than a museum--visitors interacted with live characters throughout the attraction; special effects were generated by Disney.   Descend a flight of stairs and one found oneself at the ticket counter.

The Mob Attraction was located just east of the pool area near the convention halls.  In this photo, Johnny and Angie. greeting Tropicana guests and "suggesting" they take the LVMA just down the hall--kapish???.

An aquarium in the ticket area--push down on the plunger to set off the dynamite seen inside the tank. The Mob Experience offered an annual membership with unlimited admission, a "front of the line" members-only entrance, e-mail newsletters, gift shop discounts, and room rate discounts provided by the Tropicana Las Vegas.
