Imploded Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 3 AM:  The Greek Isles Hotel and Casino located about a block east of the Strip on Convention Center Drive.  In 1972 the hotel opened as the Royal Inn, then became the Paddlewheel, and then was bought by Debbie Reynolds in 1993.   The hotel has 202 rooms.  The hotel was forced into bankruptcy in 2009 and has since become the Clarion Hotel & Casino.

Once an endangered species, Kilroy's near Flamingo and Grand Canyon appears to be extinct due to on-line reports. The location at Charleston and Buffalo was the first to close.  Kilroy's served up a humongous hamburger and fries.  It has been suggested that Three Angry Wives Pub on Charleston cooks up a burger that is as good as what Kilroy's served.
