The Rock 'N' Roll Las Vegas Marathon and 1/2 Marathon is an annual foot-race run along the Strip and various parts of the valley.  Starting in 1967, the race is one of the oldest marathons in the USA.  The full marathon (26.219 miles) runs along the Las Vegas Strip and then turns west onto Spring Mountain Road.  The 1/2 Marathon is run almost entirely along the Strip.  The full Marathon time limit is 5 hours.  The 2013 Rock 'n' Roll Marathon was held during the weekend of November 16 and 17.

Kissed Alive (a Kiss tribute band)--one of the twenty-six bands and DJs performing along the race course.  There are three races in the event:  The Marathon, 1/2 Mrathon, and 1/2 of the Half.  There are a number of pre and post-race parties and events, including a pre-race concert.

Ardee, from Crestline, CA entered the race and enjoyed the 2013 event's weekend festivities.

Here, Ardee joins with several of her running mates from the Loma Linda Lopers during the 2013 event.
