Silverton Mermaids

The 117,000 gallon aquarium at Silverton Lodge--home to 4000 saltwater tropical fish and an occasional mermaid!

Book a Room at the Silverton

The mermaid swims happen on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons--times vary each day so check Silverton's schedule.

The mermaids love to frolic and interact with the children.

This mermaid is shooting upward to the surface for some air.

After a nice breath of air, the mermaid heads back down for more fun with the kids!

The mermaids like to touch hands with the kids against the glass, blow air bubble rings and do flips; sometimes she'll touch and pet passing rays.

The mermaid returns to the surface.

Here, the mermaid is blowing a bubble ring against the glass using one of several air hoses available for her to breathe while underwater.

The mermaid is doing a flip.  For more photos of the Silverton Lodge and Casino, click here.
